From the perspectives of a curator, art fair director, public arts administrator, art historian, and artist, this series explored social justice in connection to artistic practices. Topics explored included the removal of Confederate monuments; questions of authorship in relation to subject matter of works by Dana Schutz, Sam Durant, and Jimmie Durham; the artistic practices of Nari Ward and Firelei Báez; and the performative power of silence.
